Diabetics-Are you following your diets? Please be sure to follow your diet. I know you may think that it won't hurt you if you don't, but it will. Diabetes is a silent killer, it damages the arteries and vessels in your body, which ruins the organ systems in the body all over time. The person or persons with this disease who eat foods high in carbs. or sugars are at a high risk for becoming seriously ill. Just because you can't feel anything going wrong with your health, does not mean that nothing is happening, trust me it is damaging your body every minute of the day. A high blood sugar is not your friend. Eat right and take your medications correctly. Talk to your doctor or nutritionist about foods that you can eat or substitute other foods for. SEE YA!! Finances
We went from an economic "slow down" (quoting our former President George Bush) to an economic crisis in 5 seconds. The crisis occurred just as Bush made his address to the nation; or was it before his address, I couldn't tell, how about you? Paying bills and feeding a family is becoming more and more difficult for Americans all around the country. People the only thing to be done is to change the way you've been spending and managing your monies; also get more involved and learn about the government and what they are doing with the money they take out your checks monthly. Stop buying all that crap that they advertise to you. Remember the faces behind the scenes are already rich, they are not going to go hungry or get their home taken away. The name brand clothes, expensive cars, video games, dining out, alcohol beverages and all the other stuff that is not a necessity should be eliminated from your budget. I challenge any body who usually purchase all mentioned above to stop for one full year, and save the money in a bank account and they can see how much money they are contributing to the rich. The people who spend the most money on this stuff are the poor and middle income families. If you check their bank accounts, they won't have as much as they spend in a year on things that are not necessary to live. Buying for luxury should be kept to a minimum for most of us because we don't have it like that. Some of you may know what I mean. When you walk around with a coach bag and coach shoes and you live in public housing, that's a problem. If you have your own home and drive a fifty thousand dollar vehicle or more, and your bank account has five grand and you have no retirement plan, that's a problem. If you can't see that these issues are a problem, than that explains why we're in the mess we're in. America we have to start telling ourselves we CAN'T AFFORD THAT when we know we really can't. Material things have no true value. Hurricane Katrina showed us that, she didn't stop because there was a multimillion dollar home in her path, she shredded right through it like it was nothing at all. My Fellow Nurses
Are you working too hard? Nurses work very long hours in a day and the day can be very stressful. Nurses are not nearly appreciated enough especially by the doctors that they may work for in a private practice or in a hospital setting. Most of the patients and their families don't know what a nurse go through on the job. Nurses have to work short staffed a lot. They have to take on more hats that they can wear at one time by having to be the nurse, pharmacist, nurse's aide, social worker, nutritionist and more.
